Needs love

Liked: Staff on the front desk were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, not a problem to change my room. The hotel is in a peaceful, green area close to the airport. The bedding seemed fresh, and I think the cleaners do their best, although everywhere looks worn.
Disliked: The place is in need of a revamp. Too much worn, dark wooden furniture in the bedrooms. The carpets need changing everywhere. The whole place needs some love and investment, although the worn aesthetic might suit some in an old English type of way. The staff were delightful.
