Disliked: One of the bedside lamps did not work. There was no way to turn off the blue light display for the thermostat. The bathroom was incredibly small, the only way to do something at the sink/vanity area was with the door closed. Parking fee was not disclosed to us at booking.

Quick Trip to Stamford
Liked: This hotel was decorated nicely and was quite comfortable. There are multiple floors, so the view from the rooms was a real treat! The price was decent for a room with a king bed, and the location to shops and restaurants was excellent.
Disliked: This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that charges a $50 fee for early check-in. In addition they charge a parking fee in their garage which is the only option for parking. The parking garage was so tight, and the ceiling was so low that it felt uncomfortable leaving my car there. I discovered in the evening as I left to go to my event that someone had run into the back of my car and left a large dent in my bumper. I asked the hotel for footage of the parking garage should I need it for my insurance company, and they never got back to me. Unfortunately, around 9:45 a.m., an alarm went off saying that the hotel needed to be evacuated. We quickly packed up our belongings and left. When I called to ask what had happened, they said it was from construction dust setting off the smoke alarms. I understand that things happen, but when you have to leave in a rush, earlier than planned due to the hotel's mistake, there should be some kind of follow-up and / or compensation. This hotel does not offer continental breakfast, which we knew when we booked it, but they do not offer any information on "breakfast to order" that was easy to access online, in the room, or upon arrival. The staff was not very friendly, and overall, our stay here was disappointing.
