Liked: Location was good, even though our room did not benefit from the view.
Disliked: Overall maintenance has been neglected in recent years. Paintwork was chipped and carpets worn. Multiple internal stairs between floor tiers is a hazard. Breakfasts were decidedly average, with limited food selections.

Liked: Great location and beautiful view. Glad to find a single room at a good price.
Disliked: Nothing that came to mind.

Disliked: Due to an ankle injury I requested a room on the first floor as the lift was broken.I was then told the lift had been mended.On arrival we were told our allocated room had flooded and we had been moved to the top floor,but the lift broken again!!!!The lift in the bar area was working ,but were was the second lift????Access from the garage entrance very poor.

Liked: Location amazing .staff mostly friendly.Decor appalling . Really shabby ,tired , threadbare carpets, stained walls .
Disliked: One of our rooms was overlooking bins ! Also had an industrial extractor on the outside wall , really noisy from early hours . Toilet seat was disgusting, we did complain and it was replaced straight away. Breakfast really poor , no fruit , no pastries no vegan options and very limited vegetarian,basically toast . No decaf coffee . Receptionist was really unhelpful when we arrived , despite requesting rooms close to each other we could not have been further apart .

Terrible room

Liked: The breakfast was good
Disliked: When I opened the tap in the bathroom, sewage came up into the bathtub. The broken window in the room was covered with a plastic sheet. The family room had a view of the trash cans. When we tried to upgrade the room, the receptionist lady said the hotel was fully booked so there was no chance to upgrade, but when I complained about the sewage issue, she said I should have reported it earlier because maintenance was here, showing no remorse. It was shocking how dirty our room was; the toilet hadn't even been cleaned, it was so smelly I could have vomited. The bedding hadn't been changed after the previous guest, only straightened out.

Great location

Liked: The location near the town. Train station very close. The beach just across the road. Clean towels, sheets, clean bathroom. Staff friendly.
Disliked: The room was so small for a couple top floor, small window, was quite dark. Have seen pictures from single traveller's similar room. We had been sent message from booking company that we could upgrade before we went. I rang the hotel and told in unfriendly manner by staff member and was told could not upgrade, but was still messages after telephone call that could upgrade from booking company. We would stay again if room was different.

Disliked: The room was very scruffy peeling paint dirty walls and carpet , mirrors filthy ,bathroom bath full of long black hair . Cracked sink .just HORRIBLE .
