Liked: Lovely service from female on reception and upgraded my room on arrival. Room was clean and a very nice renovated bathroom :) Great location 2 minute walk to the Abbey

Disliked: Limited parking - if we had gone a weekday we might have had problems. P

Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like. Building is very old and is in need of some work. However you can see that this work would cost a fortune due to age of property and it being listed, so owners doing what they can on a budget. Price of stay reflects this so it is still value for money

Liked: Owner/ manager was pleasant and friendly
Disliked: Room was very dirty. Srains on the wall behind the waste bin where people had missed the bin throwing teabags in. Dirty paintwork and filthy skirting boards Bathroom had mould around the bath and dead flies on the window sill. No blind or curtain in bathroom. No hot water for a shower Saturday morning at 9am. Breakfast only served between 7.30 and 8.30am on a weekend . Stain on towel on first day. Towels replaced and bed made by cleaner but dead flies in bathroom just left there. Loft hatch ladder on our landing left hanging down all day and night. Dated decor and fixtures. A .shame because the owner/ manager is a lovely bloke
