Disliked: Check in process was online - better instructions could have been provided for opening the door. For eg. When you touch the screen, push the hi-lighted numbers and then all numbers will appear, now you can enter your code etc.

Pleasant

Disliked: We didn’t actually encounter any staff. Our room was next to the entrance door on the second floor, and we could hear everyone coming in and out through the door by using the digital lock. Not really enjoyed it.

A horrible experience!

Disliked: The service was horrible. I waited in the lobby for twenty minutes before someone appeared. I had never experienced this type of check-in before. I wasn't acknowledged, and after ten minutes, the lady handed me (and the other people in the lobby) a candy bar and then departed. I assumed I would get a message on my phone with my room number and keypad number. I waited in the lobby, alone, never receiving a message. I waited another 15 minutes, then called the Hotel. Yes this seems ridiculous considering I was sitting in the lobby. The same lady answered, asked for my information, then told me to wait for my information. The whole sign-in process took over an hour. Shortly after we entered the room, my wife noticed mold in the entry. On further inspection, there was mold in the bathroom and bedroom (yes, I took plenty of pictures). We were done. I phoned the Hotel and asked for a refund. I was told maintenance would come and have a look. To think that maintenance could remove the mold to allow us a safe stay was ridiculous. I phoned Booking, was cut off twice, and on the third call, only after sharing that bad reviews were on the way, did my complaint receive any consideration. The Spot offered to upgrade us. We were not about to step into another room. We have learned a valuable lesson. I will never book another hotel with Booking. They don't do their due diligence when taking on hotels/motels.

Disliked: Very close to main roadway, a little noisy!

Difficult to check in, noisy...

Disliked: I'm not usually one to leave reviews, especially negative ones but feel I should warn people. I wasn't aware when I booked that it was self check in. I had a very hard time getting the code after a long day, the phone number they tell you to call didn't even pick up the phone the first few times I called.. finally after a lot of back and fourth, I got in. When I tried to sleep, I could hear every sound and had a hard time sleeping. Every car that drove by and there were some people partying and felt like it was right outside my door by how clearly I could hear them. To top it off, when I was getting ready to leave in the morning, I caught a cockroach in the bathroom. (Not to mention the shower is so poorly set up, you have a hard time avoiding getting wet because of the way the door is set up and where the faucet/shower head is, there is also no shelf or anything to put your shower stuff. -not terrible, more so just annoying)
