Liked: The landlady was delightful, going out of her way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The room was not terribly clean, but after a long walk, neither were we so this wasn't a problem for us.

Great find

Liked: We were visiting a family member who lives in the village and the location was very close and convenient for us. The staff were amazing. Really friendly and accommodating as we had dogs. The food was fantastic.

Disliked: The rooms and facilities were tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. The bathroom was so small you could barely move in it. Room was incredibly hot, asked for fan, the one provided was covered in dust and fan. No ground floor room available for disabled mother, climbing stairs was a problem

The heatwave spoiled our stay...

Liked: The staff were helpful. We were there unfortunately during a heatwave and the lady there gave us some fans for our room but the room was still stifling. The dining room downstairs looked nice and the breakfast was good.
Disliked: The bathroom was so small and difficult to get Into. And it was really poorly finished. The shower was a really makeshift cubicle with no proper tiles on the walls, just some sort of waterproof wallpaper. And because of the Intense heat you couldn't close the door.

Bed a bit lumpy, but...
