The Spinney is an 18th-century country house just 9 minutes' drive from Barnstaple town center. It is located in the heart of North Devon just 7 miles from Exmoor National Park. Free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking are available as well as a large garden conservatory and a lounge with a wood burning stove. A flat-screen TV and bathrobes are provided in each room at The Spinney as well as countryside views. Every room has a private bathroom. Local farm sausages are included with the full English breakfast and home-baked bread with a selection of home-made preserves and marmalade are often available. The seaside resort of Ilfracombe is only a 25-minute drive away. Croyde Beach is a 20-minute drive and is famous for its surfing.

Superb

Liked: Beautiful house, especially loved the grapevine in the dining room! Exceptional breakfast, very generous and beautifully cooked and presented. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, really felt like being at home.

Great Comfortable Stay & Lovely...

Liked: Lovely and welcoming hosts who can’t do enough to make your stay an excellent experience. My room was large with a very comfortable bed. Lovely grounds / garden and great access to local attractions. Highly recommend.
