Liked: Spotlessly clean throughout the house. Penny & Mick pay exceptional attention to detail & were really welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, fabulous selection of refresh fruit, juice, yoghurt as well as beautiful freshly cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower was not amazing for washing your hair

The Spinney,another memorable stay.

Liked: When we arrived early we were preparing to come back when Mick greeted us.He had been pruning the grapevine in the breakfast room and informed us that our room was ready and that we could check in.We felt at home immediately,he's an excellent host and his wife Penny an excellent hostess as well as cook.Their breakfast is as good as it gets,if not better.So if you find yourself in The Barnstaple area and need a place to stay,look no further,The Spinney doesn't disappoint.Thanks again Mick & Penny for a memorable stay.

Liked: Great location. The hosts Penny and Mick were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. It's a very historic building. We had a lovely room that was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here 2 nights. Highly recommend.
