Good location

Liked: Hotel staff are nice and helpful. We had fun sitting at the bar and chatting with them. The little bar and fire place has a nice ambiance to have sit and drink. The food was good. :) It is a good basic boutique hotel for short stay if you have car or book a tour and want explore the area and not looking for a luxury stay. For us it was a good stay.
Disliked: Hotel needs a makeover as it is very dated. It has a potential to turn to a luxury little country B&B but at the moment needs some refurbishment. Room was very basic and unfortunately the bed wasn’t very comfortable and also too small. Carpet, furniture and lighting need an upgrade. It was ok for us but you need to fit to carry your luggages upstairs as there is no lift.

Liked: Good location. Plenty off street parking. Nespresso machine nice touch. Really good smart tv.
Disliked: Bed was past its bed, very springy. Noise from floor above woke me a few times. Food for main meal was not great. Breakfast was nice.

Liked: The room was comfortable, very good breakfast, don't miss the porridge! Also dinner was nice. Good location.
