Liked: Staff very polite and helpful. Hotel lovely, beautiful grounds and in great a location. Rooms clean, all with AC.
Disliked: No full length mirror in bedroom.Pool small

A lovely place to stay...

Liked: The staff were helpful and friendly, always happy to help. The room was nice, but the cosy room was quite a small double for my husband and me. If you like space, or are bigger than average, I would suggest one of the other rooms that have bigger beds. The rest of the room and the ensuite were great. The bar was quiet when we wenton a Thursday but the member of staff was very helpful. We had intended to go and have dinner in the orangery but as they were quiet they let us eat in the bar. Breakfast was well made and a lot of choice. I spent a lot of time in the swimming pool... swimming, relaxing, and reading my book. It was lovely, calm and relaxing. The hours for children were limited which would have helped but when I was in there with children they were well looked after and having lots of fun, I even ended up joining in. I would definitely visit again.
Disliked: I would have preferred a bigger bed, and there were a couple of stains on the carpet in the room we were in which didnt look very nice but everything else seemed clean and looked after so I did not worry too much.

Comfortable and relaxing stay

Liked: Friendly staff, a very comfortable room, really good gym facilities and a nice pool to cool down in. Set in beautiful grounds and a great location. The meal I had one evening was also very good.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit disappointing, the scrambled eggs were not cooked well at all and there was a lack of selection with the continental breakfast. The water temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate as it kept changing.
