Loved the location. Good value...

Liked: Great location and good option if you need two queen beds in one room. Loved the coffee tea station at reception that you could help yourself to. Reception staff were helpful and nice.

Look For Better Value Elsewhere

Liked: Location in Chinatown. Hotel is reasonably clean.
Disliked: No elevator. TV worked intermittently. Bathroom sink drain clogged. Room was dark. Overhead light dim at best. Could not read. No bedside lamps. Desk staff on Saturday were not helpful. Staff on Monday displayed more customer service.

Liked: The hotel looks great with boutique styling in the public areas and rooms with exposed brick etc. the rooms are comfortable.
Disliked: Firstly, check-in is at 4pm (they will let you in early for $57). This is too late. There’s a fun rule where you have to request for your room to be made up in the morning in person. The desk people respond to comment on this unreasonable requirement with blank faces. By far the biggest issue is that there is no lift… let that sink in. The entry is one floor below the check-in desk and while there is a porter to carry your bags up, the service is not offered to persons unable to climb the steep stairs (do not book this place if you have any issue climbing lots of stairs). The porter doesn’t turn up until 9am so checking out before 9am is a serious problem. If you plan to stay here make sure to travel light!The staff were generally unhelpful and it was difficult to follow the rules - all concerns were met with blank faces and immovable rules and regulations.
