Peaceful and relaxing stay in...

Liked: Excellent find! The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located on a pretty and quiet part of Maastricht, and the rooftop bar / restaurant is great!
Disliked: I was looking forward to playing with my kid on the big suspended chilling area but unfortunately it was off-limits.

Liked: The location, interior, and vibe of the place are fantastic.
Disliked: Soundproofing is nearly non-existent. Be prepared to hear what's happening in your neighbor's rooms. Snoring, TV, conversations —you’ll be part of everything, even if you don't want to be.Mattress and pillows are just a joke, really. Your neck and back will feel pain if you're used to orthopedic ones, even low-quality ones from IKEA.The shower cabin turns into a pool in 5 minutes, so you have to be quick.

Liked: Good breakfast, free laundry. I think a younger demographic would love this place. Lots of ways to socialize with other travellers

Very disappointing, overpriced, no atmosphere

Liked: The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: A very disappointing visit. This is just an overpriced hotel for students. There was no-one to check us in or welcome us when we arrived. I checked us in myself. I was growled at by a member of staff for answering a mobile phone that was left lying unattended on the reception hub. When it rang I thought it was part of the check in procedure (that I did myself). The coffee shop 'Stach' was full of students who reserved nearly every table with their laptops and notebooks. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event on Monday evening and on Tuesdays it's closed. So, we couldn't take advantage of that facility. We checked out early after 1 night's stay because we just didn't like the atmosphere and no-one cared when we checked out - there were two members of staff (what a surprise) and they just shrugged their shoulders. We tend to travel through the Netherlands by car twice a year and always build in a stay for 1 or 2 nights. We usually book a B&B but we thought on this occasion we would treat ourselves to a nice hotel stay. It was so disappointing. And to top it all there is no discount for parking for hotel guests, and the parking is a whopping 17EUR per day!
