The Six Bells Hotel

Liked: Hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable. Location was perfect as it is close to several transport links (bus and train) making it easy to navigate your way through London. What really made this hotel so special was both the staff and the locals who would visit the bar downstairs. The staff couldnt do enough to help. Always checking in, asking how your day is, querying if you need anything for the room etc. we were always greeted warmly and with a smile. We arrived earlier than anticipated before the hotel was open (roughly 2 hours before check in time) and the owner graciously drove to the hotel from her home to open up early and allowed us to check in early. All in all we can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We are excited to plan our next visit here. Thank you for making our stay in London so special!

Great stay for a gig...

Liked: We arrived early but the staff were very helpful and let us straight into our room. They also gave us transport advice on how to get to Wembley. Nice shower and breakfast cereals, tea and coffee and biscuits, milk and bottled water were provided. Would stop here again

Good

Liked: I liked that there was a fan in the room to combat some of the heat, and a small fridge to keep drinks cool. Also, got really surprised with a huge balcony/rooftop with a great view that really made the room worth it!
Disliked: It wasn't the cleanest, and really stuffy and warm inside which wasn't really optimal since it also was hot outside. The room was quite cramped, but if you're just sleeping there it works just fine.It was however, a little tricky getting to any train station to get into central London, but still walkable.

Liked: Nice find. Super comfortable, great location and very clean. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Television was not connected to the network.

Liked: Room was comfortable
Disliked: Stayed in room 17 - light on stairs could not be turned off - stairs opened directly into the room - so a very bright line on all night. Also need a new iron and the kitchenette needs a revamp - really grotty.

Liked: Great hotel. Everything you need and at a good price

Dirty room with MUCH need...

Liked: Cereals and milk a nice touch.
Disliked: Room was stifeningly hot (yes it was a hot day that can’t be helped) however only one dirty fan provided. Bathroom still had previous occupants hair in the shower, and grout was orange where it has never been properly cleaned. The toilet looked like it had never seen a proper toilet cleaner in its existence.What I hope was makeup on tiles around sink. “Wardrobe” was covered in dust and was thankful we had no need for it. Pictures on the website do not match up to what you get on arrival. If we had more time we would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. I know it is a budget room but I think that even with budget it should be clean. Whole room needs cleaning top to bottom including all the tiles in the bathroom. I stay in ‘budget’ rooms for work but this is by some way one of the worst I have stayed in.

Disliked: Getting into the property at night , using back door entrance.

Disliked: Very hot, only 1 clean iron for all guests.
