Comfortable break.

Liked: All staff friendly, welcoming and helpful this time. Comfortable. Lovely bed. Good breakfast. Super bath and shower. Our second stay, so we must like it!
Disliked: The step down into the bathroom seemed a bit dangerous. It was difficult to judge the depth. We managed but with care and some apprehension. It was a bit noisy until 11pm although quietened down then.

Very good

Liked: Lovely, warm and friendly atmosphere - nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Very good value.
Disliked: The mattresses were far too soft - bad backs next day!A couple more meat free doses on the menu would be welcome.

Absolutely wonderful place

Liked: Everything!!The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. I was late for check in so I rang them and they were brilliant. The restaurant and pub area was lovely, as was the outside garden. Great selection of alcohol, and the food was superb. I recommend the hummus starter and the homemade steak pie. It actually made me emotional. The breakfast was even better. Possibly the greatest sausage in the history of sausages! The sea front was literally a 90 seconds walk. Stunning place
Disliked: Nothing. As close to perfection as possible

Exceptional

Liked: A fabulous coastal location close the head of Morecambe Bay, on a network of public footpaths, for those who enjoy good walking. The food was excellent & the staff were very friendly & attentive.
Disliked: If you like good quality real ale, this is not the pub for you.
