Perfect little stop over.

Liked: Really friendly place, staff were lovely. The hotel is dog friendly which is why we booked and the room, dining, garden and parking were just great. We ate dinner at the hotel which was tasty and good value. There's a small field nearby which is perfect for dog walks and views over Morecombe Bay, also a coop just a 5 min walk up the road. Morecombe Bay itself is just 2 mins walk. Have to give a special mention for the housekeeper, the room, though a little dated was immaculate. Given that its a dog friendly hotel, there was no dog smell when I walked in. We would definitely stay again should we visit the area.
Disliked: I felt that Silverdale was understaffed. The girls were all lovely but rushed off their feet. In the evening we wanted dessert after our meal but left it when we couldn't get served. Not the girls fault, just not enough people to go around. Our room was also incredibly hot. I should mention that It was one of the hottest days of the year, however only 1 small window could open. There was a small fan provided but it wasn't really big enough or effective enough to make any difference.

A delight to find somewhere...

Liked: Excellent location and good for overnight stay. Lovely meal in a bar which was obviously well used - busy on a Wednesday evening which was good to see. Breakfast was excellent.

Peaceful, relaxing stay

Liked: Lovely staff, tasty hot meals, very comfortable room with sea view.
Disliked: Nothing.
