Lovely peaceful lodge high up...

Liked: Fantastic location in the mountains with wonderful views. Friendly and kind hosts, nice breakfast. Really peaceful.
Disliked: I did not realize that Silver Lake Lodge is over 20 minutes drive up into the mountains from Idaho Spring. It would help if this is clear on the information, because I'd originally planned to drive up late in the evening for my first night but this would have been difficult. Also at over 10,000 ft elevation there is a risk of altitude sickness if you are not already acclimatized,

Disliked: Difficult to find. Would help to know distance from main road in Idaho Springs ant to have a sign near the lake.
