The Silk Pincushion

Dennis and Judy are wonderful hosts. We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and felt a little uncomfortable. That was soon relieved, and we truly loved the experience and our stay. The "at home" feel is something that you never get at a hotel.

Liked: Very "at home" feel and our hosts were amazing! We met several other visitors from across the country and a couple from Germany and had great conversations over breakfast. This is not something that happens at a hotel!
Disliked: Finding a parking spot was a small inconvenience.

Liked: The hospitality was great and the hosts was the kindest people. They even sat down and eat breakfast with us. We felt like home. If your into cosiness, this is it! The location is good, just a few minutes walk to the city center.

Much better than a five-star...

Liked: Homely stay with exceptional breakfast made by Judy the landowner.Rooms impeccably clean and comfortable. Felt like home. This is an old but elegant aristocrat-like building, very well refurbished by the current owner who run the establishment.
Disliked: Lack of lift made us to carry our heavy luggage upstairs. Perhaps a cute little lift could be erected besides the staircase. A big lighted billboard on the highway and some signage indicating the entrance would be a great help to the travellers arriving late in the evening.

Liked: Great hosts Dennis and Judy. Tasty breakfasts and a fun, relaxing time chatting with them every morning. Coffee is ready by 6 am, and love just hanging out on the porch relaxing
Disliked: Nothing negative about this stay

Liked: Breakfast was great. It was like sitting down with a family.
Disliked: The ONLY thing that could improve are the pillows on the bed.

Liked: Judy and Dennis were so personable. They greeted us at the front door upon arrival and we had a brief, very comfortable conversation. They shared their ideas of where we could go to dinner and they told us about the property.The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and we had everything we needed.In the morning breakfast was delightful! We shared stories with Judy, Dennis and another wonderful couple, ate so well and we sat around the table enjoying each other’s company for well over an hour.

Liked: Judy and Dennis were the most wonderful hostesses. I so enjoyed talking with them. They were so accommodating and so very friendly.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing comes to my mind. Everything was perfect.
