Disliked: Rooms are tired and not very clean, no shower, and the smallest bath iv ever seen , curtains did not shut properly I was the only person in the dining room, but still my starter took over an hour to arrive, and the main around 30 mins after.The food was reasonable in price but not very nice and a strange fusion of I don't know what , but just stop messing about with steak I ordered steak / not steak with a strange lasagne on top and nish mash of sloppy peppers and dried mash and traditional veg.I got down early for breakfast , staff just grunted and walked passed , me with out acknowledging me , and then proceed to serve 12 people who came in after me , the coffee was cold and I'm pretty sure was the same pot and level I sore on the side the evening before .Once I had my breakfast a very smily person appeared asking me how I would like to pay, I advised I had breakfast included . Nobody questioned this when I asked what time breakfast was served and if I could come down early with two members of staff the night before .The gentleman proceded to argue with me and eventually charged me as I was in a rush and needed to leave .They then preceded to take 15 minutes before they decided they didn't know how to do a VAT receipt .On check out, the desk was un manned , and eventually, someone arrived who couldn't do receipts either. They took my email adress to send the invoice to me, which was never received .Terrible service , terrible food , substandard hotel , I wouldn't bother.

Decent rooms for the price

Liked: Comfortable beds, reasonable rates. Good size rooms. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Bottom sheet was very thin, you could see the stripy mattress through it. I would prefer to sleep on a mattress with a washable mattress protector or at least a thicker sheet

Disliked: Room was old-fashioned and needs a good renovation.The shower well I decided it would be cleaner not get get in because it was disgusting.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and was a perfect location.
Disliked: I did not like the staff went in the room in the evening when we was out with family and we had no notice until I complained. The sink had a huge crack and there was no bathroom lock, and we only got 1 towel for 2 guests even when requested another we did not receive this. Also a member of staff was following me around the property and me and my girlfriend felt unsafe and insecure especially following what happened in the room. Also we had a leek in the shower.
