Superb

Liked: Charming, friendly hotel with very nice staff and a brilliant cooked breakfast! Great value for money stay.
Disliked: I was unlucky and caught them on a day they weren't serving food. That was it really and as I say was bad luck

Lovely little hotel

Liked: Debbie, the owner is an amazing lady. Always available and so friendly & helpful.The food was simple fayre but done very well with good quality ingredients.Our bed was very comfortable and the whole place is very clean.
Disliked: The place is a little tired but the evidence of a steady, progressive restoration is clear to see.

Disliked: Bathroom in need of refurbishment but still lovely and clean

Right in the heart of...

Liked: Excellent location in the centre of town with on site parking. Close to a couple of good restaurants and a decent wine bar.The hotel is simple and practical. It is not a boutique type hotel nor is it like a major chain hotel. It is unique and quirky in a good way.
Disliked: No complaints.

A short but pleasant stay

Liked: Exactly as expected, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Nice that they provide some small bottles of shower gel, body lotion & soap and coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Disliked: Took a while to get the shower (over the bath) to the right temperature and pressure wasn't great but it served a purpose and wasn't a major issue.

Liked: The breakfast was very good, good quality and cooked beautifully.The staff we met were lovely and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel is very run down and needs a lot of work in general. Especially taking out the carpet in the bathroom.But saying that the room was clean and tidy.

Quiet and relaxing

Liked: Good location for town centre, friendly staff and free car parking. Comfy bed and room was light and airy.Lunch was tasty, with large portions and it was hot and freshly made. Breakfast was included and that too was tasty and hot with a selection of cereals and juices to start. Quick service.
Disliked: Room could do with a towel rail and a luggage stand. Blinds need to be darker for sleepers who don’t like bright light in the summer early hours. Carpeted toilet area will make cleaning trickier.
