Liked: Excellent location which I needed for visiting Shepton Mallet Hospital, just 20 min walk. Easy free parking, room basic & a bit tired but spotlessly clean & a comfortable bed. Good home cooking, breakfast included, lunch & dinner available at reasonable prices. Lounge, bar & garden to relax in. Small family hotel with friendly, helpful & flexible staff.
Disliked: Nothing really. Paid the same for one person as for a couple but that's normal. A chair would have been nice in the room, although would have been a tight fit.

Cozy stay

Liked: The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious and the location is great (less the 30 minutes to Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury). There is a small market practically in front of the hotel and also restaurants.
