Liked: The setting along the river with patio or balcony is great, especially with the firepits. Plus, a market and lots of shops and restaurants are right near by and walkable.

Great for a quick stop...

Liked: A neat, clean, tidy hotel with an efficient staff and check-in and check-out. Woodstock is a very nice town to stay in!
Disliked: Small things ... the image on the ad must be of the back of the hotel. The front is more of an on-street Motel look, albeit clean and safe feeling. My corner room was on the main street side, and traffic was audible. The curtains were sufficient for the "fishbowl" room of windows to get privacy. It's on me, but I didn't discover that I didn't have a shower curtain until the morning ... the bath was fine.

Wonderful Vermont inn

Liked: Beautiful very large room with clean tidy colonial furniture and comfortable king bed and modern bathroom. Wonderful setting on a beautiful river with outdoor and patio furniture to relax and enjoy the lovely scene. Quick and easy checkin and checkout. Great location a few steps to beautiful and quaint classic Vermont village of Woodstock. No ce grocery right across the street. This is the best inn we’ve stayed at and the price is reasonable.
