Very good
Liked: Welcoming, clean hostel. Offer free breakfast and coffee. Kitchen is well equiped. Nice common areas - sofas outside and a tv and sofa inside.
Disliked: It is a very busy hostel, which can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. Curtains should be installed in the dorms.

Superb
Liked: Friendly staff, common areas kept clean, very comfortable bedding, free coffee and tea. A short walk away from shops on William Street. Value for money.

Good location and very communal
Liked: It was a good location if you’re looking to go out but it wasn’t too loud at all. Honestly quite nice
Disliked: It was kinda messy but not dirty and you can’t lock the shower cubicles in the normal bathrooms. There’s also no space to put your stuff so it’s better to wait for the private bathrooms. They have a 15 minute limit to which should be respected.

A friendly easy-going hostel
Liked: Pros: the hostel is 25 minutes walk from the CBD and there are a lot of shops in the areaComplimentary breakfast (bread and jam) is included. Staff is friendly and keep clean common areas and dormitories. You can have as many towels you need, paying a deposit for each.
Disliked: Cons: beds in the female dormitory don't have any bed light, making the whole situation uneasy. I had to buy a flashlight. Please, provide lights to bulk beds. Also, it would be more comfortable to have USB charger near the beds. And curtains to each bulk bed.Water pressure in the female showers is weak. Please, add more hooks in the ladies toilet/shower

Terrible
Liked: I'm not sure if there was a good point.
Disliked: I don't even know where to start because there were so many negative things, but I guess the worst part was that every morning at 10 a.m., a staff member would come into the room and start vacuuming very loudly. So basically, you’re forced to wake up around 10 every day — there’s no other option. On my first day, I arrived late and there were no staff around, so I asked if they could leave me a towel. They did leave one, thankfully, but it was unbelievably dirty — full of stains — and I had no choice but to use it. I only managed to get a clean one the next day.The staff hours are very limited; you hardly see anyone around. There’s no proper locker or cupboard to store your belongings, just a big open shoe rack-type shelf where you can place your stuff. Also, don’t bring any valuables because there are no proper lockers. Well, there are a few lockers (about 7 or 8), but they’re always in use by someone else. The bathrooms are also very inadequate. There are two shower in the toilet, but no space to put your things in there. There are only two private bathrooms, and you sometimes have to wait hours to use one. The hot water is unreliable too — it keeps going hot and cold.I’ve had much better experiences in both Sydney and Melbourne for a cheaper price, and I was really satisfied there. But this place, to put it bluntly, was a disaster. The rooms are also very messy and cramped. The laundry situation isn’t great either — not enough washing machines, and the dryer doesn’t work well. I had to run it three times to get my clothes dry, and of course, you have to pay each time. There are probably more things I’ve forgotten to mention, but honestly, I don’t want to waste more energy talking about a place like this.
