Disliked: Not a great place if you are noise sensitive :- from street : doubleglazed was broken and you can hear cars passing by- from room next door. With TV hanging on adjacent wall and very thin wall, we were not able to sleep until they turn off the TV late in the night- from bathroom upstair : if the room upstair flushed the toilets or took a shower it was a massive noise nuisance to us.Bed was really wobbly and as my husband moved in the bed, I was bumping on the otherside

Liked: Nice pub/hotel, very central. Parking tricky if town busy although car park nearby. Quiet part of town so very restful

Liked: Great location and very friendly helpful staff. Good food and drink.
Disliked: The room I was given was above the kitchen and very hot and noisy. I was given another room which was quiet but very small.

Charming, in a great location...

Liked: We have stayed at The Ship couple of times before. The situation is fab and the price (Sunday night) was very good.Rooms are fresh feeling, bathroom a little dated but lots of hot water and good amount of space and it was great to have a bath as well as shower for the room. Bed was very comfortable and the tea and coffee supply generous.Staff were very welcoming.
Disliked: No real points to raise, it's an old building with charm and you may hear the other guests a little and the usual sound of life outside the window but nothing to spoil the visit.
