An absolute gem of a...

Liked: The property was immaculately clean, lovely interior and fabulous location. The beach was less than a 5 min walk! And port lympne safari park 15 minute drive. The food in the pub was beautiful, we had both dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed every single bit. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The church view room was beautiful and cosy, it had absolutely everything we needed. A fan - which was much needed, radiator, iron, hairdryer, hand washes and body washes. Also tea and coffee facilities and water and biscuits. Thank you for an amazing stay will 110% recommend and be back.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing! But The stairs are very steep and unlevel but that can’t be helped!

Our stay at the Ship...

Liked: Lovely location staff very efficient owners Claudia and Carl very helpful and a very nice couple. Breakfast was delicious also had a meal in the restaurant one night which was equally delicious.This was our second stay at the Ship inn would highly recommend.

A great place to stay

Liked: Absolutely loved the staff.... made everything easy and pleasant. The restaurant was great and we ate there both evenings.... the pie was amazing!We stayed in the 4 poster room with stunning bathroom up a flights of stairs off our room...pure luxury.Parking was easy and my husband was glad he could see our motorbike from the bedroom window. Great visits to National Trust properties and then a short hop to the Channel Tunnel on the day we left.
