Liked: Great, quiet location. Friendly and efficient staff. Good food in relaxed surroundings.
Disliked: Lack of thorough cleaning so we found lots of cobwebs/spiders/crane flies near windows, ceilings etc. which was a little off putting.Soundproofing wasn’t great so every noise made by adjacent room was heard i.e. coughing/snoring and when the tv was switched on at 6am

Liked: Clean, comfortable accommodation in a lovely village location, close to Ulverstone. The Ship Inn had a friendly welcoming vibe from the owners to the local customers. It also it had a good breakfast and a wide range of evening meals at reasonable prices, including “small portions” which we found more than sufficient. We would highly recommend The Ship Inn.
