Disliked: They took my money on this website (booking.Com) and the hotel wasn’t open , cannot get a refund

Disliked: It was dilapidated & closed down despite receiving greeting messages. Total scam & illegal fraud! We were very lucky to get another hotel! No answer from the 'owner' either.

Liked: Building is derelict, all windows are smashed, paid through booking.com for a hotel that no longer exists as it closed down. Bookings.com are committing fraud, they have taken my payment for two nights stay for a hotel that has clearly been closed down for a long period of time. Customer services informed me that the would provide alternative accommodation and a full refund only to be followed by an email stating there was nothing they could do about the situation has the hotel was not answering any call or responding to any emails, obviously because it has closed ( as stated on google). I had to fork the cost of another hotel through bookings.com before I had received their email back otherwise I would have used another company or booked a hotel directly.
