Liked: The owner at The Sheldon couldn’t be more hospitable, friendly and informative. The room was lovely especially for the cost and there was lots of extras like free breakfast which was amazing and lots of refreshments on tap in the lounge area which was also lovely. The bed and pillows were also really comfy!

Liked: Nicole welcomed us so warmly before we even could open the door, it felt like coming into a family.Charming ambience, quirky decoration.Delightful mini vegetable garden edging the car park.Beautiful flower garden at the front.Superb breakfast. Totally original, great place to stay.

Liked: Excellent staff, beds, location & breakfast!Super great & friendly B&B. Parking was convenient & on site. We wished we had booked another night & stayed longer to relax & enjoy the town & surroundings.we would highly recommend the Sheldon!

Great facilities

Liked: The host was very welcoming. It was hot weather and a fan had been provided in our room which was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, as were the facilities - option to use microwave & crockery; cool drinks to purchase, variety of teabags, and places to relax. Extra time was afforded us in the car park, and the location was great especially for walking. This place even has a lift.
Disliked: There's nothing we didn't like. The place is quirky but charming.

Disliked: Shower very old and grubby. Breakfast busy due to only open for an hour, breakfast items not replenished and tidied.

Liked: The room felt very homey - I was very comfortable. The staff were lovely.
Disliked: Nothing! I wished they served lunch and dinner because the breakfast was so good!
