Fab location, very poor hygiene...

Liked: Location was great, right near the beach and easy access to transport facilities. Staff were nice. I liked the tea station outside.
Disliked: The room was so bad. The hygiene was terrible. The carpet needs changing asap, the dust was so bad that it flew everywhere and the cups had pink lipstick on that wasn’t mine. The room wasn’t even cleaned throughout our stay. I got two bites on my neck that are raw red and hope not bed bugs and a cold saw which I hope wasn’t from drinking from a disgusting glass. I’ve never had a cold saw before. Not good value for money at all, would never ever pay £75 a night for such a poor level of hygiene, not sure how it’s acceptable, even though location is great I wouldn’t book ever again because the room was filthy!

Liked: Breakfasts were excellent with a varied choice. Friendly and helpful staff and interesting hand produced internal decor.

very pleasant weekend in Eastbourne

Liked: Excellent choice for a short break, friendly staff (including the dog), clean comfortable room,right by the beach and close to shops.
Disliked: Breakfast was good, but could have been a bit hotter. Maybe everyone being served in an hour was too much for the kitchen staff

Liked: Greeted by Steve on arrival very friendly made us feel at home. Went through security door procedures etc. tea or coffee in lounge 24/7 and an opportunity to eat at night in dinning room if we wanted.Changed our room to Room 15 it was absolutely beautiful. Clean comfortable bedding, just a special place to stay.Breakfast, full English great variety of cereals yoghurts, coffee tea.Attentive, friendly and efficient staff. Nothing too much trouble.
