The Shelbourne

Very welcoming and felt comfortable straight away. Lovely hotel, people who run it very friendly. Breakfast lovely, will be staying there again.

Liked: Sea view room was beautiful, easy location to find, parking at rear, book direct to secure a space. Berin and Sarah are lovely owners, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Water pressure of the shower will take the skin off you, one of my pet peeves about hotels is rubbish water pressure so this is a definite book again for me.
Disliked: Nothing to note. Breakfast is cooked to order so let them know when you arrive that you would like it. Completely my own mistake!Could maybe use a fan in the room in the hotter days :)

Good location but service can...

Liked: The check in was smooth and the Lady was pleasant but that was about it.
Disliked: We stayed in room 3. The beddings were neat, but the mattress was dated, and we didn’t enjoy our rest. You could feel the springs while in it.The room could do with more items like a fridge. My wife can only drink cold water and we had to wait until the next day to get Ice packs.
