Great stay, lovely location &...

Liked: Beautiful location, staff were very friendly and attentive. Fantastic village pub, great food, really was a treat!
Disliked: Very minor, shower wasn’t great, no shower mat and some soap at the sink to wash hands. A mirror in the bedroom would have been useful. It was an exceptionally hot day, so kept the windows open all night which resulted in a lot of little flies coming into the room. A portable fan would have alleviated that situation, but again it was a very hot day

Liked: All good, great staff who were very helpful. Was an exceptionally warm night and we would have benefitted from a fan.

Liked: The owner went out of his way to make us both feel welcome and agreed to keep the kitchen open to feed us even when we checked in late.

Too brief - would have...

Liked: Inside a traditional, historic pub environment are comfortable, peaceful and well decorated bedrooms with everything you need. Very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Above all, the hotel manager, chef and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Excellent food that was prepared with care. We could not have asked for more.Highly recommended!And very convenient for Bristol airport. THANK YOU!!
