A lovely and comfortable Bed...

Liked: The Secret Garden Inn is a lovely B&B in a great location to enjoy everything that Kingston has to offer. The room was so pretty and comfortable and had everything you need for a short stay, like a fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was lovely too. The breakfast was good, but we would have liked to be able to choose some cereals too, but that is a personal preference. Overall a lovely stay.
Disliked: Perhaps a bit more breakfast choice, but the cooked serving was exceptional. So a small thing really.

Disliked: Breakfast wasn't great for us. Crepes every morning there was a sameness to them not very tasty. The 2nd option didn't appeal.

Liked: Beautiful, characterful, small Inn with bags of historical charm. This hotel has been sensitively modernised, making good use of the available space without losing any of its oldy worldy appeal. It is one of many historic buildings in Kingston and, as such, is even mentioned in the local trolley bus tour. It is located only a short walk away from the tourist information office.We had a room on the top floor with lovely views of the church across the road. The air conditioning is quiet and very good, keeping our room pleasantly cool on one of the hottest days of the year. The bed, pillows, and bedding were all very comfy.The modern bathroom ( lovely, powerful, warm shower) was along the corridor to our room, but it was completely private, and robes were provided. We enjoyed very tasty, filling breakfasts during our stay. Warm scones were served each day, followed by a delicious choice of breakfast dishes ( ordered the day before).Apart from the fabulous historic building, it has to be said that the staff are the real stars of this quaint Inn. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, and the helpfulness and kindness of the staff continued throughout our stay. We would like to thank them all for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
