Liked: The property itself was beautiful as well as the buildings and lake views. Our room was modern and stylish. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and room was warm.
Disliked: It was a little difficult to carry bags to the room as the car park is a bit of a distance from the reception and the rooms. There was confusion with a dinner booking we had made, I feel quests staying should have priority over the general public, when it comes to being seated. Unfortunately we received two different cuts of steak though we ordered the same. One was definitely better than the other. And our drinks arrived well over halfway through our meal even though we asked about the drinks when the food arrived. They had been ordered at the time of seating. We were advised by the lady who brought the meals they were coming but unfortunately she never checked with the bar and had a conversation with another table of guests. I feel a little let down for the price of $400 for one night in an off reason and the way it was reflected with the restaurant. Also wasn’t a fan of the open bathroom and glass door on toilet.
