Comfortable stay; adequate for an overnight. Handy to theatre and restaurants.

Disliked: I had to request a room change as the fan in the bathroom was way too noisy and couldn’t be turned off. Connor at reception was mist helpful in finding an alternative room. No bar or food on arrival on a wet Sunday evening after a long trio from NZ was disappointing. My accommodation in Melbourne the following day (Victoria Hotel) wad much better and half the price!

A convenient place to stay

Liked: The room was small nut with all expected appointments. Curtains were effective at blocking external light.Hotel is close to Martin Place station and it was just a short dash in the rain to the entrance.
Disliked: The bathroom had mould on walls of the shower and it looked as though someone had tried to seal leaks in the wall.There were only two tea bags but half a dozen coffee pods. Some of us still like tea!The hotel sign was not visible until I was close. i had to pause and check the address to make sure I was headed in the right direction.Staff ludicrously insisted on collecting an email address from me just in case there was an emergency and they needed to contact me. When I replied that they had my mobile number they still said they needed it in case I didn't answer my phone! Needless to say they didn't get my email address!

Very pleased with our stay,...

Liked: Very clean, had everything needed for our stay.
Disliked: Somewhere to wait for checking in would be good, it was raining quite heavily which we did not expect and could not check in until 2pm.

Good value for money

Liked: Close to the venue where I was required to attend a conference
Disliked: It was the weekend and everything was closed, but if you walk a few streets further, there's plenty of food to eat.I didn't use the free Wifi, it was a generic password, not specific to the room. I didn't have time use any facilities.
