Nestled in the heart of Sydney CBD Mercure Sydney Martin Place is ideally located close to Pitt Street Mall The Royal Botanic Gardens and Circular Quay. This inner-city hotel is perfectly positioned close to public transport meaning Mercure Sydney Martin Place is the ideal place for a business trip or Sydney city escape. Guests can benefit from the hotel's 24-hour reception and laundry facilities. The hotel has access to offsite parking $70 per day during the week and $30 per day during the weekends at Wilson Parking located 60 Elizabeth Street. Ticket is valid to 1 entry and 1 exit. We've partnered with our favorite local cafe - Piccolo Me. Add breakfast to your booking for access to a special A La Carte menu - you can choose to dine in or take away. Located at Shop 2 80 Elizabeth St Sydney NSW 2000. Bastardo is our local partner restaurant opened for lunch and dinner Monday to Friday. Guest's can dine in by making reservations with the hotel reception or use the QR code in the room for a room service option. Located at 167 Phillip St Sydney NSW 2000. Work up a sweat at the local Anytime Fitness Gym. Gym is open 24 hours a day however limited gym passes can be given at the one time. Book a time slot with the Hotel Team will guarantee you access. Mercure Sydney Martin Place is undergoing an exciting refresh to enhance our accommodations rooms and public spaces. We will continue to provide exceptional service while keeping disturbance to a minimum. Intermittent noise may be experienced between the hours of 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We enjoying staying here for...

Liked: Excellent location if you are alighting at Martin Place Metro. You don't have to drag your bags across town to get to the Sebel
Disliked: room did not have any moisturiser - plenty of liquid soap?

Great location

Liked: Nice hotel in a great location close to Martin Place. Rooms were very neat and quiet.
Disliked: Breakfast is a a Cafe located around the block, not much seating area to get out of the weather and the food was average.

We had a lovely time...

Liked: Everything was good, comfy bed, very clean. Breakfast at little cafe very nice.
Disliked: The streets of Sydney were filthy.

Great but would have been...

Liked: Location was good right near the city. The room was pleasant & the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom was a bit out-dated but okay. The biggest disadvantage was that there was no easier way to get your luggage to the taxi since it was all stairs.

Would not recommend

Liked: Fantastic location near Hyde Park in Sydney. Close to cafes, 2 restaurants, shopping and sights. Train station and bus stops nearby for public transport access. It was still fairly quiet at night.
Disliked: We only had single beds, and they were not very comfortable. The room was small and dirty, our window opened to an internal covered courtyard, so not much daylight was getting in and there was no view. There was mould in the shower and the walls were stained in the entry and shower. We've had to ask for extra toilet paper and a hairdryer that should have been supplied. Floors were quite dirty and the overall standard of housekeeping was fairly poor. I felt that the room was overpriced for the quality of the whole facility and the service we've received.
