A touch of luxury

Liked: Had paid for a view but the first room just looked out at the bridge covered in white plastic... went to see reception and they managed to give us the floor above with a good city view.2nd room was spacious and very quiet, bed very comfortable. Came with a whiskey sample, nespresso coffee machine and a well stocked mini bar. Very clean. Ambience of the hotel is lovely and calming.The Grand Cafe attached to the hotel, is well worth a visit, although on a cold day, avoid the table next to the door to the hotel, as it is very cold and draughty and the door doesn't automatically- but the food is very good and the waiters provide an excellent service.
Disliked: Room cleaning not until between 3-5 so after a day in the city don't really like the room servicing so late.When they did come, failed to replenish the coffee making facilities so had to call for some supplies.The cupboard under the tv which we used for clothes, maybe needs refurbishing or replacing as the doors nearly fell off when opening and closing them... just didn't expect that for the price of the room.Again, for the price of the room would have expected breakast being included.
