Massive plus on one hand...

Liked: Staff. Lovely and helpful. George was great and Irish night porter a credit. Food was lovely and prices fair.
Disliked: It was absolutely flippin FREEZING !!! We had to wear all our clothes all the time in our suite. We met friends and booked to dine. We all brought nice clothes to wear for dinner but dined in our outside wear. We asked for a fire but not available. Never been so cold in a hotel. !!!

Liked: Room was lovely clean and all facilities that we needed.Receptionist was efficient.Waitress in dining room was superb helpful and friendlyBreakfast was lovely well cooked and lots of choice.
Disliked: Staff in the bar were not friendly, no price list up beer not great.service charge of £2,00 on each meal was unacceptable and we did make a complaint the price on the menu is what you should pay and if you want to leave a tip that should be a personal choice.

Disliked: Pillows!! There are 2 for everyone so would be good to make one a thinner option!

Great Hotel in a good...

Liked: Breakfast was great, as was the location, our old town of 40years. When visiting my family again we will be booking again.
Disliked: The cold water tap flow in the basin was very poor, and tiles over the bath needed replacing where the hand rail had been moved from. That's our only small complaint as we had a very comfy stay at the Saracens Head.

Great location and place to...

Liked: The room, the food, the building and the area were all lovely. Good base for the 2 nights. The outside courtyard was a lovely addition as we had friends staying at the same place.
Disliked: Personally, we thought the bed was a bit firm. Everything else was perfect, thank you.
