Excellent and enjoyable stay

Liked: View from the room overlooking Burray Harbour and the BoatyardStaff were very good, both checking in and the restaurant. Food was excellentThe hotel was sited on Burray, some 40 minutes from Stromness and 15 minutes from Kirkwall, but the trip to and from the island most days of our stay was interesting as you had to cross the Churchill Barriers and pass the picturesqe Italian Chapel
Disliked: Only a small point, the room was warm despite the outside weather so we slept with a window open ...... it was very quiet and no traffic noise etc ..... until 5am when the cockerel woke everyone up!

Liked: Very clean and up together. Staff were very helpful and restaurant was good.
Disliked: Family room is a little tight for headspace given two beds in an attic room with sloped roof.
