Worst hotel stay ever, staff...

Disliked: Where to start!!Rooms are tiny, and actually not what we booked, no window natural light or even a mirror. 3 bunk beds crammed in a tiny area, no tv, no where to sit as you cannot sit upright under the bunks as they are so low.Facilities - the room was set up for 3 people, so for a family of 4 we had 3 paper cups, full of dust when water was poured in then you could see it floating on the top. No spoons or stirrers!! No hot water, but couldn’t get hold of any staff to report this even on checkout.No mirror, no tv, no window, no where to sit, literally 3 bunk beds.Noise - how this hotel has been allowed to have such small rooms all with partition walls is beyond me. Honestly the noise, we had a very rowdy group of men next to our room, they might as well have been in our room the noise was so loud. No I can deal with a bit of taking etc but honestly from 12 mid night til 2.30 am I could hear their whole conversations, names everything they were so loud. The sounded like they were coming through the walls, the banging, doors banging it was horrendous. So bad that for those 2 and half hours I recorded the house 6 video recordings of over 10 mins each time to show the hire staff.There was no one in reception to report this noise to, I tried ringing the contact number for the hotel which went straight to voicemail, I ended up having to message through the booking.com message system as we could not sleep at all. The response I got was the hotel staff cannot hear any noise!! So they are calling me a liar and also what hotel staff!!I persisted to recoded to evidence the noise so that I could show the hotel staff in the morning.I persisted to message through booking.com and eventually I heard and recorded someone knock on the door next door and tell them to be quiet but still booking.com messages to say there was only talking heard from outside the room!! This was not just talking!! They also said the hotel was full and no other complaints had been made!!

Liked: Good location, excellent service when everything went wrong.
Disliked: We arrived and they agreed to give us the room early, however it wasnot clean and not meeting our requirements. But staff despite being very busy moved us and sorted everything out! Gave us a free drink and all good in the end!

Liked: Location was excellent to visit Anfield. Bed was comfortable and linen clean
Disliked: Water strength was poor for showering. WiFi did not work.

Liked: Brilliant location for a family trip to see Liverpool in Anfield. The Staff especially Jill could not of done more for our party. 6 Star service, highly recommend, we will be back 👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
