Very disappointing. If you have...

Liked: Unable to have breakfast as dogs not allowed in bar restaurant or left in room
Disliked: Not at all dog friendly. Unable to go to bar or restaurant on site as not dog friendly. Very poor space available to walk dog on site. Very noisy as rowdy hen party next door until early hours of the morning.

Superb

Liked: Great view of harbour. Close to shops. Room exceptionally clean which is rare. Lovely little added touches and extras in bathroom and kitchen. Great parking. Safe.
Disliked: Local taxi service very expensive to get around but not fault of the Salt Lodge. If we had known this beforehand we would not have stayed here. Cost £100 return to get to Saltcoats which was more than our total petrol cost from the midlands to Troon!
