The Sacajawea Hotel

Enjoyed ourselves.

Liked: A lovely quaint hotel packed full of charm and character with a delightful porch to sit on with a morning coffee.
Disliked: The lack of lift ( elevator ) can be a pain getting bags up to the higher floors.

Highly recommended!

Liked: Cottage was well appointed and comfortable. The little touches - hand cream, drinks in refrigerator, pillow freshener, chocolate on pillow, several snacks, champagne upon arrival etc. were an outstanding touch. Hotel itself was old world charm and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The quaintness, the history but yet adapted new technology without losing its charm.
Disliked: Room was not cleaned because they did not have my phone number to text me to see if I wanted it refreshed.

It was so nice to...

Liked: The staff at the front desk were wonderful - both evening and overnight shifts.
Disliked: I wish you could have had some way to help people to bring bags up to the 2nd (or 3rd) floor, as there is no elevator.

Liked: Great locationWarm welcome with a glass of champagne Lovely spacious verandah with seating out the front and a stunning lobby area. Bed was comfortable
Disliked: This wasn't the luxurious stay we had expected Breakfast was a limited variety of items offered for self-service on the 2nd floor landing with plastic spoons and prepackaged cereals (more plastic) providedHad to take items back to our room but we only had one chair and a small dressing table to eat at. We were very disappointed and ate breakfast at a local cafe the next morning Only one bedside cabinet provided in the room.No fridge in room and no lift , (but these were mentioned way down the facilities list and staff did offer help to take luggage up.)) We were impressed by the grand lobby area and warm welcome, but once in our room and then experiencing breakfast, we just didn't feel the luxury we were expecting

Disliked: Room was a little noisy in terms of being able to hear conversations in the lobby through our closef door...
