The Ryder Hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel and would go back for sure. Great location within walking distance of many good restaurants and attractions. Offers onsite parking for no cost.

Liked: Friendly, attentive service; comfy pillow top beds with good pillows; great shower with good water pressure and large shower head. Restaurant staff was great very helpful and attentive.
Disliked: Room A/C didn't seem to cool as good as the hall units but still comfortable temperatures.

Liked: The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.
Disliked: We paid for a balcony room with a view but it was blocked off so there was no view at all.

The Ryder is perfect for...

Liked: The pool was a nice touch, especially during the hot and humid month of July. However, we did not know until the last day that you had to reserve the area with the couches and umbrellas next to the bar. That information would have been nice to know upon arrival. We enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the hotel, and the coffee shop at the front was awesome!
Disliked: There’s not a refrigerator or microwave in the room, and there’s only one chair in addition to the bed.

Nice hotel with pool close...

Liked: Great location. Room and bathroom are a decent size and very clean. Friendly staff. Pool was a nice perk.
Disliked: I was charged for having them fix the safe. I did not forget the code and I was not warned of this charge.Room "windows" faced the wall. We stayed there 1 night so it was okay but worth noting for someone who is claustrophobic.

Liked: Very cozy atmosphere, amenities were nice. The location is perfect.
Disliked: The floor was dirty, even after I asked to clean it, it was dirty, they just swept it away. Had to by a mop by mysef and clean the floor properly. Also, there is a carpet under the bed, and it seems that it accumulated tons of dust because they do not vacuum clean it. The sink was clogged.
