On the scenic Queens Promenade The Rutland Hotel is an elegant building on the Isle of Man. With panoramic views across Douglas Bay and a carvery restaurant it is just 5 minutes' drive from the ferry terminal and a short seafront stroll from the town center. Featuring 24-hour room service and free Wi-Fi each room includes a flat-screen satellite TV tea and coffee making facilities and ironing supplies. The private bathrooms have a shower bath and a hairdryer. Some rooms boast sea views. In the mornings Restaurant 21 serves a full breakfast. Guests can also enjoy daily meals prepared using locally sourced produce. The Rutland Hotel's also offers a comfortable bar and lounge. All of the Isle of Man's sights are within 30 minutes' drive of the Rutland. Douglas is the capital and features horse-drawn trams which run along the promenade as well as the Gaiety Theater and Camera Obscura on Douglas Head. With nearby parking the hotel is located near the mountain railway.

Good value, great location, suitable...

Liked: The staff were excellent, the dining room and food were very good. There was a safe storage place for my bike. It is obviously an old hotel but has been refurbished to a high standard.
Disliked: The TV could do with an upgrade and the room was very warm. I would have appreciated an early breakfast option as I had to depart at 6h30

Try for the sea view...

Liked: Great location, easy check-in with a smile, lovely clean room with a sea view with comfortable bed and bathroom. I didn't try the breakfast, but it smelt fantastic and was always busy. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very cheerful hotel. Great location,...

Liked: Spotless, recently refurbished interior. Bright. Big rooms. Warm and comfortable. Singles rooms available. Very good value. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: Elevator lift very small. 3 persons Or 2 with luggage. Facade needs facelift. Very Steep steps to enter hotel. Slippy when wet.

Great location, friendly staff, ideal...

Liked: Spacious room, clean, comfortable beds, with big en suite.
Disliked: Noise of generator at back of hotel may disrupt some visitors. View at back of hotel not great.
