Long weekend away
Liked: Property was stunning, clean n stuff so helpful. Was a problem with the internet connection so couldn?t use Netflix they did give us another code but couldn?t get tv to connect to it but wasn?t a big issue.

Love Edinburgh - stay central!
Liked: Due to Covid the hotel was empty and my booking was upgraded to a generous serviced apartment. Perfect communication and attention to detail. The facilities were in good condition, though slightly spartan. I felt clean and safe and well looked after. The location is just amazingly central - a perfect choice.
Disliked: The gas fire pilot light worked but the fire itself would not ignite. I had to turn up the room heating as it was set for anti-freeze rather than for an occupied room. Easy fix. The furnishings were in good order but without any throw cushions or extra pillows so I felt the sofa was rather hard and the TV was mounted very high on the wall. Niggles.

Liked: Location of hotel was great.
Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Unable to go to breakfast until 10am. Breakfast was available to have in our room earlier but limited choice.
Realise the circumstances are restricting at the moment.

Amazing hotel but no wine
Liked: The hotel was clean and had a great view of the castle and surrounding area. There are GHD hair straighteners and dryer available in the room ready for a night out. The coffee facilities were great and there was even a single pint of milk in the fridge. The mini soaps available smelt amazing I?ve even gone as far as to see if I can buy the brand myself for home. The lady on the front desk was so friendly and polite,I had a courtesy call from her a few days before my stay due to covid. She gave me all the requests that needed to be followed and asked about breakfast options, she could do no more to help with any questions I had.
Disliked: In every photograph on booking.com to advertise the hotel it shows a bottle of wine and water but there was neither to be seen.
