Great location, lovely rooms, very...
Liked: Lovely room, very spacious, clean and modern. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good bar area.
Disliked: Could do with a bar in the bath for safety getting in and out of the shower or an anti slip mat.

Don’t let your children arrive...
Liked: The bathroom and the drinks provided were good.
Disliked: My daughter and her boyfriend were given the best room on arrival. We were left with the smaller rooms. Considering we were paying it would have been nice if the larger room was given to the bill payer. It was very hot but at least we had a fan.

cllean and value for money
Liked: Location good . Room had everything you would require but no space
Disliked: Room to small .We were at the back of the hotel which was quite. Staying in the room at the front the noise from the 2 pubs was was disgraceful with shouting singing until after 1am. (it was a friday night)

Exactly what we needed
Liked: Room was comfortable, on an exceptionally hot couple of days there was little that could be done about the temperature, but the staff offered a room change to a more sheltered side of the building. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and nothing would have been too much trouble.
Disliked: Couldn't fault a thing.

OK, but one member of...
Liked: The location of the hotel was very good. Near the shops (if needed) and the taxi rank (as quite a hike to the railway station), and also right next to the famous Rugby School. I had a rather regrettable and serious complaint that I needed to resolve and the attitude of the night porter and the hotel manager was exemplary in how the handled my concerns. Whether the matter was then dealt with in the right accordance, is not of my greatest concern (but I will mention more in the next field).
Disliked: The room was far too warm, and I had to sleep with the old-fashiones Louvred windows open all night. Hardly ideal when located in the middle of a semi-lively town centre and near to a busy road junction. The breakfast was adequate but not the most inspiring.However. This...On making one or two concerns about the outside noise and presence of a dog that I felt a little afraid of, I was met with open aggression and antagonism by a young man on the front desk. He was shouting back at me in a totally uncalled for manner when I had been politely raising issues. I resorted to showing him a disability card (I won't declare what it is for though) believing that he would soften his angry stance. He then proceeded to shout across a semi-busy lobby area "well, I used to work with children with special needs". Not only was it an inaccurate judgement, it was also outrageously offensive, and a probable breach of GDPR. The excuse of an apology was not suitably contrite enough. I found the man to be arrogant, aggressive, and intimidating. I will allow anyone reading this to draw their own conclusions whether this insinuates bullying towards a member of the disabled community.
