Overall a pleasant stay with...

Liked: Overall liked the hotel, but it was lacking in several ways that could be improved, mentioned below. Staff was great. Room was a 2 story loft, certainly more than anticipated but fell short of impressive because of several things. Would probably have been far better stay in a room off the street.
Disliked: Street side room was horrible. Noise from certain cars with unbelievable loud music and revving of engines until 3 AM made it impossible to sleep well, even blasted through ear plugs (which I hate to wear). Small things seemed overlooked...no place for soap in the showers, bare couch with no pillows (more like a doctor's office), no extra blankets and sheets for comfort, bed was in a space to itself upstairs (loft) with no closet, dresser, table or chair (just a bed all alone)... awkward.. Had to place things on floor and keep most clothing down stairs. Room was stark with too few B/W pictures on huge walls. A little thought in decorating could make a huge difference to an otherwise impressive space to work with.
