Good stopover

Liked: The Royal Station is a classic old hotel, which provided us with a comfortable night when passing through. Our room faced the station and provided an interesting view of what was going on, it was a shame that it was filthy weather when we stayed. The hotel restaurant/bar, accessed from the street around the corner, was good value and perfectly satisfactory. We didn't have breakfast, which is served in the hotel.
Disliked: It wasn't a problem but the layout of our bedroom could have been so much better if it had been arranged differently, particularly the positioning of the hanging rail.

A really excellent hotel with...

Liked: Beautiful old historical building next to famous Carnforth Railway Station. Easy to find on main high street. It’s highly ACCESSIBLE with a lift for disabled to first floor and big wide doors and disabled toilets. Bar area & breakfast room both very open space & accessible.
Disliked: Some traffic noise especially early in front room first floor but unavoidable due to location.

Liked: This is such a beautiful Hotel and it's a real treat to stay here.The rooms are absolutely divine and it's really worth every penny .Perfect

Liked: The staff were excellent - well trained and attentive.The food in The Junction was excellent and quite well priced
Disliked: The room was a bit dated - no shower gel or soap in the shower. No fan in the room.It was a bit noisy from the road and train station nearby.
