Can’t get past the poor...

Liked: Good location, staff were friendly
Disliked: Beds were atrocious. So uncomfortable. You could feel the spings. Probably the worst room I have ever stayed in. It was clean but just not comfy.

First stay in Carnforth

Liked: It was very tastefully decorated, modern clean bathroom. All staff were very obliging and friendly. Food in the restaurant was good.

Good choice for stopover en...

Liked: Ideal stopover on long journey. Only short distance from motorway. Older building - 150 years old so more character than a modern chain hotel. Restaurant was very enjoyable with good choice for evening meal. Lovely staff. Breakfast was also good value.

Absolutely as good as it...

Liked: We were on a cycling tour and getting a warm and efficient welcome means a lot. The staff were unfailingly helpful and made our stay comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing.
