Royal Sonesta is amazing. I will come back. Great experience.

Liked: The front desk was so inviting. Our room was immaculate. A special treat was waiting for my little dog. She was given a new ball, neck-kerchief and bowls were set out for her. Any place that gives a warm welcome for my little dog is worth 10 stars! The bed and pillows were incredible. Wonderful place. We'll be back!
Disliked: The only thing that was awkward was not having a valet meet us at the door, help with our luggage and take my car to valet for me. For what they charge for valet service, I think they could provide this service. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Right now I'm still reeling....

Liked: Breakfast was good. Dinner was good. My wife enjoyed the jetted tub.
Disliked: Website says parking available. Didn't see anything about it costing us $55 per night.

Disliked: The hot water sink handle was broke, the TV would not turn on and the shower water was so hot and had no cold water at all.

Passable

Liked: Nothing really -- location could be good, if it wasn't for the homeless and drunks shouting the whole night under the window.
Disliked: Breakfast is not included; there is a random destination fee, which just feels like a way to charge random money: $30 for 2 bottles of water and $15 towards breakfast, which is ridiculous if your party is more than 1 person.The rooms are very dated.You need to request fridge or coffee machine in the room. The second floor smells like pee.

Beautiful Vintage Hotel

Liked: The Deluxe King room was spacious. We liked the hotel and room decor. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was very convenient; close to Pioneer Courthouse, shopping, restaurants and the Trimet train station.
Disliked: The buffet breakfast spread was very limited. The restaurant and bar only opened a few days during the week. We were not able to utilize the $15 voucher at the restaurant and bar on the weekend and had to purchase drinks and snacks from the front desk.

Wonderfully eccentric stay on the...

Liked: Loved the unique decor of the whole property. Loved the lobby area and being able to play the piano. Loved the $15 credit for snacks and beverages.
Disliked: Everything was great, just didn’t like that the bathroom in our room doesn’t have a vent esp for hot showers, moisture goes into the room windows, which cannot be opened…understandably so.
