Professional / Review Style: “My...

Liked: I liked the front entrance of the hotel, it smelled very nice upon entering.
Disliked: The rooms feel outdated and would benefit from new beds and TV stands. The hallways on each floor had a musty odor, so it would help to extend the same fresh fragrance used in the entrance area throughout the building. In the entrance itself, the furniture and carpet need a thorough cleaning. Additionally, the gym requires updated workout equipment, and the vents should be cleaned to improve air circulation.

Pleasant

Liked: Really good location and very walkable area. Rooftop balcony had great views and restaurant was nice. Staff was nice.
Disliked: Pool was closed, the beds in the room were slightly uncomfortable considering the price of the room. Beds had tears in the leather when we first got there. I think the 100/per day incidentals were a bit much since most places only charges 100 for the entire stay.

Disliked: The smell in the room was not great - mainly due to maintenance work in the hotel. Pool was closed (but it was a Chicago wide issue, not directly linked to this hotel)

Great value and location

Liked: Loved the location and the roof terrace, pool, gym. Also the size and comfort of the suite (though pretty dated)
Disliked: The lobby area looks cheap (too glitzy), I expected it to look more classy..The bedrooms are dated and a bit tired. The lack of a buffet at breakfast was disappointing.
