Liked: It was a great location for our weekend in Ashbourne. The staff were all brilliant, the breakfasts enormous and tasty.

Liked: Staff were super friendly even when it was very busy in the pub, they did their best to see to everyone. Food portions in the pub and for breakfast were huge
Disliked: Quite noisy overnight. We stayed on a Friday night and the music in the beer garden was blasting till 2am. If it hadn't been so hot I'm sure the windows would have done a good job to drown it out. Could do with a fan in the room for hot days

Liked: Lovely and clean and in beautiful surroundings.
Disliked: We had to ask for a menu for our evening meal, as it seemed we weren’t very visible due to where we were told to sit.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of offerings. Very good bacon and black pudding. Liked Staffordshire oatcakes.
Disliked: Difficult narrow access to rooms on first floor. Many low angular sections in ceiling/roofline. Noisy activity from outside our window. Climaxing in countdown, megaphone and hooters going off at 07:00am. Not the Sunday lie in we had planned.
