Liked: The location, quiet despite being a pub. Nice country feel. Nice furnishings, clean, really accommodating friendly staff.
Disliked: There were cracked tiles in our shower and the shower dripped, but nothing major.

Liked: The young girls we dealt with were very polite and helpful.Breakfast starting at 8.30am is quite late for us and they were very accommodating, with the chef kindly coming in for 8am so we could get on our way. Breakfast was delicious!There was a lovely new bathroomBed was very comfortable, which is important
Disliked: Unfortunately there was no food after 4pm so we had to go into town to find some dinner (we did have some great Italian!).Our shower handle was broken and wouldn't stay screwed in. We had to manually put it in to turn on the shower and again to turn it off, leaving it on the shelf at other times. It did drip and leak out a little.The location meant we had pub guests right outside our room so had to put the blind down, making the room dark and poky. Luckily it closed at 9pm on the night we were there.Sharing an outside door with other guests meant there was a lot of banging around for a while when they came back after 10.30pm. Above us also creaked very loudly as they walked across the floor. Lucky we always travel with earplugs to dull excess noise.

Liked: Breakfast was good and good location to walk into town. Large free car park
Disliked: Stayed two nights and left note to clean room but didn't empty the bin or replenish tea and coffee and although made the bed not to standard on arrival day. Assume just busy and rushed.Also all afternoon and evening Saturday door from pub to garden banged as staff went in and out to outdoor bar. Appreciate it was a fire door but spoiled enjoyment of evening meal as the noise of the door banging every few minutes resonated up the stairs to the restaurant area. Could be rectified with a soft close mechanism

Liked: The purpose of our trip was not a happy one unfortunately. The staff could not have made us feel more at home. I hope to return in happier circumstances in the future.
Disliked: Nothing. Worth mentioning that We had booked a table for dinner but due to a glitch there was no record.That was very quickly rectified and we enjoyed a lovely meal despite the pub being packed for quiz night. We were very appreciative of this.
